Alessandra Saglia coordinator of Base 190 in Canale (CN) sports centre with indoor and outdoor pools, gym, fitness rooms and padel courts.
When we opened Base 190 in Canale in 2018, we were looking for an innovative solution to manage showers and hair dryers. I had previously managed gyms of my own in Alba, where we used classic tokens: they did their job, but had nothing to do with the experience we wanted to offer our users. So we chose to install the DocciaPay system, attracted by its modern design and the clever way it managed the pay-per-use service delivery.
To be honest, we didn't really know what to expect at the beginning. Leucum System, the company that produces the systems, was then a young company, and I admit that today, looking back, I would call our choice a rather bold one. But something, right from the start, inspired confidence in me: the professionalism and transparency of the team. And that trust, over time, proved to be more than deserved.
Over the years there have been continuous updates and improvements. The service is always present, punctual and fast. After almost eight years I can say with conviction that we made the right choice. We are now looking forward to the online top-up app, the new DocciaPay App, which will make everything even more convenient for both us and our customers.
A function we use often is the “race mode”: we activate it during open days or promotional days at the beginning of the season. It is very convenient because it allows us to use showers and hairdryers without a card, just by setting the time of use. Considering that our showers do not have mixers, this solution is perfect: the stop button activates the delivery for the set time, like a timer, with great convenience. If I had to give advice to my colleagues in the industry, I would say without hesitation to evaluate DocciaPay, It is a reliable, flexible and constantly evolving system. I believe it still has enormous room for growth, capable of taking sports facilities to a level of management and service that would have been unthinkable a few years ago.
