Control Pool System by leucum system
Efficient filtration for your pool
Born in 2011 from the request of a pool operator who wanted to consume less electricity and have excellent water quality.
After 11 years of testing and development, CPS was born: patented system that minimises resource, power and water consumption of the filtration system - the most energy-intensive system in the entire sports facility, both in terms of consumption and the constant maintenance required.
Problems it solves
- Filtration system as the main consumer of energy and water.
- Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance constants.
- Ram strikes that damage the pumps.
- Low level interruptions in a compensation tank.
Why CPS revolutionise your filtration
Imagine filtration that never stops, reduces energy costs to zero and eliminates maintenance. CPS is the patented system that after 11 years of testing has solved the operators' main problems: waste, sudden stops and continuous maintenance. Discover the 4 concrete advantages:
- Drastic reduction of electricity consumption
It maintains a constant flow even with a partially clogged filter, reducing peak energy consumption.
- Zero maintenance
Gentle windings and advanced seals eliminate routine maintenance on pumps.
- Never useless mains water
The modulating valve automatically withdraws water from the bottom during compensation and cleaning, avoiding waste.
- Zero interruptions for low level
Ultrasonic sensor and automatic valve prevent the pump from shutting down even at low level, ensuring continuity of recirculation.
How It Works
The entire system is governed by a PLC connected to the Internet and managed remotely by Leucum System, using proprietary logic and software developed in-house.
PLC-controlled inverter powers all pumps (including the backup pump), modulating speed according to the level of filter clogging. It ensures gradual switching on and off, eliminating water hammer.
Flow sensor positioned on the delivery pipe into the tank (downstream of the filters), maintains a constant water flow regardless of the level of dirt. This drastically reduces power consumption and washing frequency.
Ultrasonic level sensor installed on the walls of the compensation tank, sends constant and accurate readings to the PLC for optimal water level management.
Modulating valve installed on the bottom sump outlet → opens proportionally when the level in the compensation tank drops, drawing water from the pool bottom and preventing the pumps from stopping.
During filter cleaning: A PLC button activates the dedicated procedure: it opens the foot valve (discharging the heavier, isocyanuric acid-rich water) and sets the pumps to a fixed speed. The operator can thus clean the filters WITHOUT having to stop the system.
Make-up solenoid valve is automatically activated only when necessary, ensuring that the optimum water level is maintained without waste.
